A technically challenging project - the extended gable of the chalet style house needed a specialist A-frame in steel to support the roof and glazing infill. Our design included a balcony with glass balustrade, removal of loadbearing walls to create an open plan style and new staircase to complement the layout.

The project required the design and completion of a broad scope of works, including:

• Structural Engineering and calculations

• Specification advice

• Producing, submitting and managing tenders
